Guided by a compassionate team and an evidence-based clinical approach, each center upholds the same steadfast commitment to personalized care and lasting recovery.

The facility itself was clean, calm, and well-organized, which made a huge difference during detox. The medical team was professional and responsive, and I felt supported both physically and emotionally throughout my stay.
If you or a loved one are looking for a detox center where people actually care and treat you like a human being—not just a patient—I would absolutely recommend ShorePoint Detox.

The therapy staff is incredible. Each therapist has their own unique perspective to care and recovery. Regardless of who you are assigned they genuinely want to see you succeed. Tommy is full of laughs and wisdom. He has taken the time to get to know me and my story and taken accountability when I did not feel heard at times.
The nursing staff on the whole very caring. However, they could benefit from more communication and organization internally. Sonia the Nurse Practitioner is very nice and took the time to ensure I was educated on medications before taking them. Angel, Gabe, Derrick, Jimmy, and Delaney are exceptional.
The resident Psychiatrist is extremely intelligent and straightforward. I think the Shore Point staff could benefit from a doctor who can be here more presently from day to day.
Gail and Becca from case work go above and beyond and are always finding ways to ease clients minds about their plans. They make the patients here feel supported in their financial concerns and as well as in their recovery. They make an incredible team.
The groups offered here are very diverse. The topics allowed me to explore recovery from an educational, practical, and spiritual perspective. They have been by far the best part of the experience for me. Even when I don’t identify with some of the sentiments shared by the group facilitators it has challenged and affirmed my own belief systems.
The Behavior Health Techs are incredibly hard workers. For the most part, they are focused solely on their duties. Similar to the nursing staff, they could benefit from a little more organization and maintaining a standard practice. I would like to shout out Shantelle, Keandra, Jenna, Laurie, Joe, Shaun, and Micheal.
As for the amenities, the facility is very nice overall. It is a soft place to land when seeking help and treatment. On the whole, it is very clean and orderly. Food is provided 3 meals a day sometimes more. As the patient capacity gets higher the amount of food sometimes doesn’t adjust to meet the new influx of people. Laundry is done for you here which is very nice. It does vary based on the BHT doing it. This could benefit from a standard of practice as well. Commitments are offered nightly. They are not associated with the organization directly and come voluntarily. You also have the choice to involve yourself in these commitments as well. I also spent my time here over the Holidays. The staff went above and beyond to make these days feel special and celebratory. Other amenities offered include yoga, facials, massages, reiki, and hair cuts. Yoga has especially had a profound impact on my recovery and mental health.
Shore Point has been open for less than a year. Many of the concerns I voiced are most likely a product of the time it’s been open. I see this facility being very successful in helping patients find recovery in the future.
